“Great hosts, good german food, decent breakfast with fresh made eggs. Rooms however are old and bathrooms have some minor issues. Had 3 different rooms here over the weeks.”
“Lovely place, great reception, even if you come here for dinner without booking a room. We booked a room at the Albhotel, which does not serve food or drinks on monday. Eventually we entered here, to see if we could get a bit. They were a bit understaffed, but we were welcome to have dinner anyway. The atmosphere here is awesome, everything is decorated as you would expect from a German guesthouse/hotel. The menu is as German as can be. When in doubt, get the Schitzel ;) The food here is well prepared and mostly served with Spatzle. Which is a sort of noodle/potato like carb dish. Great alternative to pomme frites. For starters we received a complimentary salad. Just go here if you need some place to stay and feel welcome.”
